“Capitalism carries war within it as the cloud carries the thunderstorm," the quote from French socialist Jean Jaurès reads. That’s why we must stay alert—today’s militarization isn’t about providing more peace. This training addresses German militarization today and the importance of countering it.

Ulrike Eifler is a member of the German metal trade union IG Metall and a member of the leadership of the Die Linke party.

Jörg Kronauer is a German journalist and author specializing in international relations and neofascism. He contributes regularly to Junge Welt.
