Marxist political economy of today's world (FR)

Wednesday 9th of July 10am - 1pm

Martin Dupont - België

Language: French

The anatomy of civil society is to be found in the political economy, said Marx. 180 years later, this principle is truer than ever: to make sense of the major phenomena that are shaking up our contemporary societies, we have to get to the root of the problem. In this course, you will learn to decode international tensions, the ecological crisis and the world of finance through the prism of Marxist political economy.

Martin Dupont studied political economy at UCLouvain and at the Sorbonne in Paris. He is a founding member of Rethinking Economics Belgium.
